In this episode, I speak with you guys about the power of saying yes and what can happen when you say yes to opportunities. I share an example with you from my business.

Someone who wanted to move to an area of the country I don’t operate in asked me for help. At first, I thought, Well, you know, that’s kind of a lot to do. Because it’s just a referral. I can just tell an agent what you want, in the North Carolina area and hand it off to them and be done with it and get 25% of the commission.

Business is about relationships

But something in that moment said, “You know what, John? Say yes. You have the availability. You have the time to go see them. You haven’t seen them in a while, and this business is all about relationships.”

This business is all about relationships. Anytime you are building relationships, you are in your sweet spot, that zone of genius, where you want to be in your business. Your business is all about relationships. It’s not about dollars.

Say yes. Show up at these meetings. Show up in person. You’re not in the business of buying and selling houses. You’re in the business of building relationships. And if you do that, you will have more success.
